Everything a little, small town cafe should be! We came for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The western omelette was a perfect sampling of breakfast goodness. I chose the rye bread for my toast and it took me back to big breakfasts as a kid with my dad. Show them some love, Rogers City! Looking forward to trying dinner or lunch next.

I was on a road trip through Northern Michigan with a friend and after visiting 40 Mile lighthouse, I was craving a cup of coffee. A quick Google search brought this restaurant up, and mentioned having a good cup of coffee and homemade breads and jams, that sold if for me. When we got there, the plan of coffee and trying their homemade bread changed after looking at their complete menu. It was filled with many things that I wanted to try, but ended up ordering their style of corned beef and hash meal, and it was AMAZING. Just as everything else was at this establishment. Go here and order anything that sounds appealing to you and I promise I don't think you'll be disappointed. Also met the owners while I was dining here, and learned that they sold everything in Montana to come back to MI and start this AMAZING business with hope to give their community a quality, healthy, and affordable choice when going out to eat. That stands out to me. Was also lucky enough to eat here on their 1 year anniversary of being open and I hope I can visit again to help them make it to year 2. Being 4.5 hours away may pose a challenge to that, but it's worth it to experience ALL this "restaurant" has to offer.

I called right before closing and they took my order without any grief. It was a take-home order and it was excellent! The food was awesome and the portions were bigger than most places. It wasn't slopped together in a hurry either. Even the potato chips were homemade! The onion rings were hand battered too.

Food and service was amazing both times we went. We got breakfast and went back for dinner. My hubby said the biscuits and gravy were to die for.

The portions are very generous. Neither of us could finish our breakfast. The toast is Texas sized and delicious with the jam of the day. Food is very good. I could only eat half the meat lovers omelette and my wife good only eat half of the breakfast burrito. Stop in by and have a wonderful meal!
